My paintings are mainly inspired by feelings, travels and moods

 

With my abstract paintings and urban scenes, I mostly want to express positive values and emotions, such as freshness, momentum, love, infinity, serenity, harmony, daydreaming and I could go on, the list, it is constantly expanding and changing. I’ve always been attracted to interesting shapes and more vivid colors, and I really enjoy being able to create something new from a photo or an interior image by playing with them. I like to receive feedback and find out who associates to what or what a feeling my work evoked from it, because that's when we show how different we are. I believe that the paintings have a kind of radiance, and I hope that my paintings, which now adorn the walls of offices and flats, contribute to a more pleasant atmosphere and evoke positive feelings or make you think.

​For me, painting is a journey full of discoveries

​

I started painting more than a decade ago when we lived in England, it’s no coincidence that my first painting on canvas also depicted the Picadilly Circus. I am grateful to my first teacher who warned me in advance: from now on we will see the world differently and it will be much more beautiful! She was right. I have been pursuing this adventurous journey ever since, sometimes with tiring climbs, sometimes with easy walks or rest, but definitely with plenty of exploration. I regularly attend courses, classes and painting camps led by contemporary painters.

I like to experiment with materials

I have paintings on which I used construction material, plaster, or even corrugated cardboard to create interesting surfaces. My latest project is the creation of hand-painted pillows that match my paintings, where I apply the paint on 100% cotton material (and no, it doesn’t come off!), which can be a completely unique addition to the interior on its own. No two pieces are alike, but together with the paintings they are able to create complete harmony in their surroundings.
